Veterans Day Videos…Time for Fun Part Deux

Gotta Have Some Fun

I know people think that things in country are serious all the time but in order for the troops to keep some semblance of sanity, they gotta let go once and a while.  The thing I like about it is the fact that it isn’t just the young guys doing this.  There are a few of the older and higher ranking personnel gettin down.  There is one thing that I noticed right off the bat in the beginning of the video, something was missing.

Reflective belt Nazi’s

Anyone who has never served in the war zone will not relate to this but the policy is that you must wear you reflective belt 24/7 and there are people over there that do nothing but harass people that don’t have them on.  If you go to the bathroom at high noon, you better have that damn belt on.  Now you would think they would get some lower ranking person to do it, well, there are E9’s with nothing better to do so they get to run the “reflective belt Nazi corps”.

Now, just so my civilian friends can keep up, an E9 is a Chief Master Sergeant (Chief) and there is a HUGE difference between an E9 and a Chief.  An E9 makes your life a living hell because in all honesty, they have no sense of loyalty to their troops and only care about themselves and the policies they feel are important.  A Chief will take care of his or her troops.  Anyway, I grew to hate that damn reflective belt, it was like a bad dream that keeps coming back.

Today’s Videos

I guess the Veterans Day theme for today is that the military does have to have some fun time in order for the troops to keep fresh.  Even in a war zone, thousands of miles away from home, they need to “get away” if only for a couple of minutes.  They are still proud to be serving and will do their absolute best to defend our way of life, they just need to kick back a little.

I hope today’s videos help give you a little kick start to the weekend.
